Terri Sorensen Featured in Chronicle of Philanthropy Story

An October 6th article in The Chronicle of Philanthropy featured key advice from Friends of the Children – National CEO Terri Sorensen. The story, titled “Weatherproof Your Future By Building an Endowment: Here’s How,” details how reserves and endowments are proving to be more effective than ever in this challenging climate.

“I would say this has by far been the most challenging year in terms of uncertainty and things changing literally by the day as to the environment, whether that’s government, philanthropy, executive orders, etc.,” says Terri Sorensen. “Having an endowment and a reserve fund is critical.”
