March 25, 2015 Social Change Award Top 100 National nonprofits. Like the S&P 500, the Social Impact Exchange (SIE) has created a top 100 index of trusted nonprofits that are making social change – each one with a demonstrated impact validated by third-party studies. The S&I 100 is an innovative platform that allows philanthropists to efficiently deliver capital to the most effective nonprofits, with the goal of spreading impact in cities and states across the country. The S&I 100 recognizes that Friends of the Children is a unique organization that can utilize capital to improve the lives of not just the children we serve, but the communities in which we work. Every dollar we invest in our children saves our communities $7. We are proud to be on the S&I 100 list and are excited to grow our organization into new markets. The Social Impact Exchange supporters and charter members include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Kresge Foundation.
