It’s not every day that you get a call that perhaps the most famous athlete in the world, Michael Jordan, is inspired by your work and wants to support it.

A few months ago, Friends of the Children got that call!

Michael Jordan is donating proceeds from a special-edition Bulls jersey to Friends of the Children!

Nike released three versions of the jersey, which are now almost sold out (available in select stores around the country).

The best part? We can now give more kids facing the highest risks a Friend—a salaried, professional mentor—who stays with them from kindergarten through graduation–12+ years, no matter what.
