Good Man Brand Partnership with Friends of the Children to Recognize Community Heroes

Over the last three years, Russell Wilson has supported expansion for Friends of the Children through Why Not You Foundation and the Good Man Brand. With an investment of $500,000 that is the result of 3 percent of every purchase of Good Man Brand being invested in Friends of the Children through Wilson’s Why Not You Foundation.

Earlier this fall, Good Man Brand received numerous entries from across our network from youth who nominated their Friends based on qualities they exhibit that make them a “Good Man” in their community. What does it mean to be a good man in this day and age? Here’s what the youth said: nice, helpful, someone who advocates for others, responsible, caring for you, helping you get back on your feet.

From those nominations, Good Man Brand selected three Heroes: Victor from Los Angeles, Kevin from New York and Rex from Seattle.

We are incredibly proud of the work that happens here at Friends of the Children, from Victor, Kevin and Rex, and among all the Friends who spend intentional time with your every week in their school, home and community.
