Staff: Teresa Harrison

Teresa joins Friends with over 20 years’ experience in Learning and Development. Working as a Training Specialist in the Telecommunications Industry, instilled within her a deep interest in technology and an enthusiasm for passing this knowledge on to her students.

In her most recent position, her expertise was recognized when she was handed the responsibility of selecting, acquiring and implementing a new LMS (Learning Management System). Once fully installed and integrated she took charge of the operational management and maintenance of the system including the development of the curriculum within.

Originally hailing from Kentucky, Teresa was raised in Texas and calls the southern part of the US home. She transferred to Las Vegas at the request of her previous employer and, loving sunshine and the great outdoors, was able to quickly regard Nevada as her new home.

Besides spending time with family, she has an abiding passion for Scotland, vacationing there whenever possible and loves nothing more than exploring old castles and hillwalking at every opportunity.
