Staff: Hira Imran

Hira Imran moved to Portland after living in Los Angeles for 25 years. She graduated from University of California – Los Angeles with a degree in English Literature, then went on to work in the publishing industry before joining Friends of the Children as an Administrative Support Specialist in 2021. Her passions lie in empowering the voices of marginalized groups and making sure their voices are heard.

In her free time, Hira enjoys discovering local bookshops, exploring the PNW, and trying new things.
