Staff: Elizabeth Wanjiru

Elizabeth Wanjiru was born and raised in Kenya, She moved to the United States in 2015. She began her college education in 2017 and later earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Grand Canyon University. With a strong passion for nonprofit work, Elizabeth started her career at Food for the Hungry, where she served as an Accounting Clerk. Elizabeth is excited to continue her professional journey with Friends of the Children and looks forward to contributing her skills in support of the organization’s mission. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys picnics with her children, road trips with family, and spending quality time with family. Karaoke nights are her absolute favorite
