Danielle Turley

Senior Administrative Support Specialist

Danielle brings over 15 years of administration experience from an assortment of fields (including finance, construction, and medical) to her new role at Friends of the Children. Along with making a career out of ensuring operations run smoothly, she has an inherent passion for building strong relationships within her professional and personal life. Supporting teams in fast paced and ever-changing environments, she has earned a reputation for reliability and accountability.

Outside of her occupation, she has spent her time serving her community in a variety of volunteer positions typically centered around working with or for children and families. Among her greatest vocations has been raising her own four kids, two of which she adopted through foster care. During her six years as a foster parent, Danielle witnessed firsthand the incredible impact a faithful and caring adult can have on a child’s life. Through this journey she collaborated with social workers, CASAs, the family court system and IEP teams in the public school system gaining a deep understanding of a system that needs more mentors and advocates.

Growing up in the Midwest but now living in the PNW, she spends as much time as possible soaking up all this beautiful area has to offer - exploring fresh trails and sinking her toes in the sands of a new beach whenever she can. A lover of all things nature and travel, she can often be found dreaming up her next adventure at home or abroad.

Landing a position with Friends of the Children is the realization of a long-awaited aspiration to partner her vocational skills and her heart for children into a profession. With gratitude and excitement, Danielle looks forward to the ways she can serve this organization.
